‘A young man who cannot weep is a savage;
An old man who cannot laugh is a fool’
Saturday 21st April, 9.30 – 4.00, at St Mary Aldermary.
Bring a drum if you can. A simple lunch will be provided.
A chance for men to explore the male journey of life, no experience needed! The day will include discussion and time for contemplation.
Come if you have had no contact with this work before, or if you are going on the Rites of Passage this June (places still available at ww.mrop.org.uk) or if you are initiated and want to tap into the energy again.
This will also be a chance to talk with a group of men who have been meeting monthly to see if this might be something for you.
Enter liminal space for a day in the heart of the city with men who wish to grow up before they grow old. Share time amid paradox at the heart of Christianity.
Tell your friends – word of mouth is the best way to build this up.

‘At some point in time, a man needs to embark on a risky journey. It’s a necessary adventure that takes him into uncertainty, and it almost always involves some form of difficulty or failure. On this journey the man learns to trust God more than he trusts a sense of right and wrong or his own sense of self-worth.’ Richard Rohr
