How at home are we in our humanity?
In preparing for Serum I have been reflecting on the mystery of the incarnation – of god finding a home in humanity in the person of Jesus Christ. If god can be at home in humanity why do we find it so hard to accept our own humanity and what does it mean to be a human being?
So this is where we will start our Serum discussion tomorrow tonight – on the mystery of being a human and finding a home in the creative (and sometimes destructive) tension of body, mind and spirit.
